Job Description:
We are seeking an accomplished and motivated Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join this esteemed team. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in insurance defense litigation and demonstrate the ability to manage complex legal matters. This position involves handling cases from inception through resolution, including drafting motions, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including commercial litigation, property damage, and professional liability claims.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitration.
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies while providing sound legal counsel to clients.
  • Negotiate settlements and collaborate with experts to prepare cases for trial.
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and emerging trends within the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar.
  • 1-4 years of substantive experience in insurance defense litigation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of insurance law and defense litigation strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and legal writing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to excel both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
